Math Smart

My first daughter is not a big fan of "mathematics"
even though she just started
the 1st elemenatary course.
She is doing two digit addition(+) and deduction(-); 23-11=?

For me, I cannot say I was confident in numbers and space.......

Tell me good ways to make children like math.

Hi Kelly,
I hate math so I have no practical solutions to your question. I think that letting kids discover learning on their own is good to allow them to develop naturally but they all have to pass the tests so...

I think girls are not usually good at math. But we should remember practice makes perfect. You ask them many questions to your children. and give them some prizes. It hleps you?

Thanks a lot, Nicole & Frances.

Yes, "practice makes perfect" is a golden rule.

Letting kids play with numbers is a good idea, too.

I think people born with talent with numbers are very lucky.

I have nothing to tell you about math. :)
When I was young, my dad was always upset because of my math ability. He tried to teach math, but he gave up soon. But strangely, my math grade in high school was very good. I was aced. hahaha... So, don't worry, and time will solve the matter.

Hi,Kelly! It's our educational problem. Because we should get high grade in all subject to enter the famous university. I think every person has his own unique talent. We should help to develop his talent. One of my students, she was smart at that time, but, at the school festival, I was so surprised at the wig made by herself. I prasied her so much. At that time, she wanted to be a dress designer. Right now, she became a designer one of the biggest company in our country. Like that we have our own talent. Not only parents but also teachers should help them find that kind of things. Only try to find interesting motivation to have interest in math. It's your first job,I think. Kelly, have a nice weekend with your family.

Hi, Kelly
Wow, you have decorated your bolg so beautiful. Very nice.
How can I give you the answer?
Um... it's a hard question anyway.
Don't urge your cute daughter to have a mathematical brain. I'm sure she will do well as she grows older. She is so young now. If she resembles you, she will be another smart woman in the future. Bye
